Worryless

Imagine for a moment, looking back at all the life you’ve lived, that you did not worry.  Now realize that you’re here and somehow you’re just fine.  All events unfolded as they did and you’re alive to read this.  Now ask yourself if you actually needed the worry.

Imagine now, looking back at all the life you’ve lived, that you could have stopped being fixated on what was to come, and loved where you were.  Knowing that hardly any outcome unfolds as planned, and that when you met your goal, it never left you nearly as complete as the path and moments that took you there.  No ask yourself if you actually needed to despise that present, if you needed to hate those moments, if you needed to live in an ungrateful manner longing for happiness, if you can ever truly love any moment if you never learned to love the ones you were in then.

Lastly, ask yourself how rich your moments would have been if instead of worrying and longing, you looked at what was around you and smiled and made a spectacular time of it all.
